The Carbon Removal India Alliance (CRIA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with cKinetics to accelerate the growth of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) initiatives in India. The partnership will focus on expanding knowledge, market infrastructure, investment opportunities, and stakeholder engagement to support responsible scaling of CDR solutions across the country.
Under the collaboration, both organizations will work on research, ecosystem development, strategic events, and market-building efforts aimed at fostering high-integrity carbon removal projects. The partners also plan to develop joint knowledge products and investment pathways that could help position India as a global hub for durable carbon removal technologies and solutions.
